Eugene F. Duguay's Obituary
Eugene Duguay, 80, Leesburg, FL, went to be with the Lord on September 29, 2012 at Mike Conley Hospice House in Clermont, FL under the loving care of family and Hospice staff. Mr. Duguay was born on October 5, 1931 in Detroit, MI to his parents Frank and Bella Duguay. He was employed as a Bottler at Stroh’s Brewery and served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He and his wife moved to Leesburg 17 years ago from Madison Heights, MI. He was very involved with the community of Royal Highlands, managing the community breakfast as well as preparing the food. Mr. Duguay also enjoyed playing softball on the Royal Highlands team and later umpired and served as a scorekeeper. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years: Loraine Duguay of Leesburg, FL: four daughters: Michele (James) Piscopink of Troy, MI, Gina Ann (Randy) Smith of Caledonia, MI, Beth Marie (Todd) Kelly of Troy, MI and Loren Grace (David) Foster of Hazel Park, MI.; 11 grandchildren: Curtis, Stacie, Jimmy, Jonathan, Andrew, Nate, Devon, Erin, Allison, Amy and Amanda; 1 great-grandson: Shea Eugene. Mr. Duguay was preceded in death by his son Curtis Paul Duguay. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 with a concluding prayer service at 4:00pm at Page-Theus Funeral Home chapel in Leesburg, FL.
