Etta Virginia Spears Beville, 94, of Leesburg, FL, began her Heavenly journey on May 9, 2025. Etta was born in Leesburg, FL on March 24, 1931 to her loving parents; Clyde and Laura (Smith) Spears.
Etta was a true Florida native and a proud graduate of Florida State University. She worked as a social worker for 30 years until her retirement.
Etta was of the Baptist faith and a member of Grace Baptist Church. Etta was also a member of Eastern Star and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Etta enjoyed spending her time outdoors, she loved flowers and previously owned cows as her pets. She also loved to knit and crochet and leaves behind many handmade afghans to her family. She also enjoyed playing piano.
Etta is preceded in passing by her first husband, Lawrence Lewis, who passed in 1986, as well as a son; Lawrence S. Lewis II, two brothers; Jerry Spears and Claude Spears, and a great-grandchild, Selah Moyer.
Etta is survived by her husband of 24 years, John Glen Beville, a daughter, DeEtta Smallwood (Clay), two grandchildren; Jennie Moyer (Caleb) and Clayton Smallwood (Kristal) and six precious great grandchildren; Sutton, Hannah, Makayla, Tinsley, Henry and Silas.
