Esther Lois Chaky's Obituary
Esther Lois Chaky, 90, Palm Bay, Florida passed away on January 27, 2018 at William Childs Hospice House of Palm Bay surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Chaky was born on September 14, 1927 in Springfield, Ohio to her parents Parl Mellenbruch and Orpha (Tonsing) Mellenbruch. She was a former Public School Teacher for over 40 years and had worked in Gainesville, Ocala and was with the Brevard School system the longest. She also taught piano at her home for many years. She held a Master’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Music. She moved to Palm Bay 9 years ago from Friendswood, Texas. She was a member of New Hope Lutheran Church of West Melbourne, Florida. She is survived by her loving children Ken Chaky of Florida, Larry Chaky and his wife Donna of Palm Bay, FL, Greg Chaky of Summerfield, FL, Judy Chaky of Gainesville, FL and Rebecca Chaky, Ph.D of Atchison, KS. She is also survived by many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Gary Chaky and three sisters, Ruth, Kitty and Marjorie. A Private Burial will be held at a later date at Lone Oak Cemetery, Leesburg, Florida.
