Elizabeth McCants' Obituary
Elizabeth McCants passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at the age of 99. She was born on July 7, 1912 in Austria to the late Albert and Anna Prokopetz. Elizabeth had made her home here in Lake County for the past 8 years, having moved here from Jacksonville, FL. Locally she attended Community United Methodist Church. She enjoyed working with crafts, and baking. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband Julian W. McCants in 1963. She is survived by two sons; Robert (Mary Gay) McCants of The Villages, FL, and Richard Julian (Jan F. Hughes) McCants of St. Helena Is, SC, and one daughter Elizabeth (Ronald) Tedder of Leesburg, FL. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 14th. at 2:00 p.m. in the Union Cemetery of Butler, GA.
