Elayne Margaret Turowski's Obituary
Elayne Margaret Turowski passed away on Thursday October 1, 2009 at the age of 87. She was born to the late Franz and Agnes Ryger on July 18, 1922 in Brookings, SD. As a military wife she lived in many different places but finally settled in the Lake County area in 2004. While living in Orlando, she attended services at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, and locally she was a member of the Catholic Communitee of St. Paul's. Elayne was very active in politics, and also with the auxiliaries in the V.F.W. and the American Legion as well as other military organizations. She is survived by four sons; David of Victoria, TX., Robert of Christmas, FL., Thomas of Melbourne Beach, FL., and Patrick of Orlando, FL., two daughters; Susan (Greg) Connell of Yalaha, FL., and Judy King of Victoria, TX., twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edwin Turowski, two daughters Carol Zebrowski and Sara Kliemann, one son Mike Turowski, and one granddaughter Chantel Ramos. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Orlando on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Brian Sloth officiating. Burial in the family plot in Chapel Hill Cemetery will follow the services.
