I was so saddened to learn of Elaine's death. My deepest sympathy goes out to her Garofalo family. Although I never met any of you, she shared so many loving memories
about you all. Elaine held a special place in my heart...she was like a mother to me, and one of the most loving, happy, inspiring people I've ever met. She left me with her most special Italian recipes that I make often and will always treasure.
