Edward Walter Teschke's Obituary
Edward Walter Teschke passed away on Saturday, Mar. 19, 2011 at the age of 87. He was born on August 8, 1923 in Berwyn, IL to the late Walter and Irena Teschke. Edward served his country in both the Army and the Air Force, during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of VFW Post 8083 in Belleview, FL and the American Legion Post 347 in Lady Lake, FL. Edward was a wonderful father and husband, a true family man. He was an electrical engineer, and often was known to say “shut-up, I’m an electrician, I know what I’m doing.” He is survived by his loving wife of over 20 years Frances Teschke, one son: Charles Teschke of Cocoa, FL., two daughters; Pamela Redfern of Merritt Island, FL., and Mary Lenkeit of CT. Edward is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Teschke will be held on Wednesday, Mar. 23, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Page-Theus Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Blanchard officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services. Burial, with military honors, will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
