Edward Kiley "Shorty" Anderson's Obituary
Edward “Shorty” Anderson, 66, of Lady Lake passed away Friday, November 16, 2012. Mr. Anderson was born in Lyons, Georgia and has lived in this area all of his life. He was retired from Minute Maid and was a talented machinist and fabricator. His passions were fishing, gardening and riding his Harley. He is survived by his companion, Dee Jensen; daughter, Cindy (Robert G.) Strickland of Fruitland Park; 2 stepsons, Charles and Brian Vandergriff; 2 grandsons, Robert E. and Eric D. Strickland and 3 great-granddaughters; sisters, Mary Jueong of Tampa, Vera Hart of Weirsdale, Suzie Lumley of The Villages and Lilly Green of Wildwood; many loving nieces and nephews as well as many dear friends.He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, John Clyde and Charles “Buddy” Anderson and a stepson, Steve Vandergriff.The Anderson family will celebrate Shorty’s life on Saturday, November 24, 2012 with a visitation from 12:00pm to the start of Service at 1:30pm and continuing with a Gathering after the service at Lady Lake Community Building in Lady Lake, FL.On-line condolences may be shared by visiting www.pagetheus.com.
