Edward I. Hobbs' Obituary
Edward I Hobbs, Jr. of Kissimmee, Florida formerly of Leesburg, went to be with his Lord August 20, 2019. Edward was the son of Edward I Hobbs, Sr. and Bessie
Surles Hobbs. He was born July 20, 1925 in Washington, District of Columbia
Edward retired as an Administrative Liaison in General Life Insurance. Ed also attended George Washington University, He was a World War II US Navy Veteran, and a 23 year member of First Baptist Church of Leesburg, Florida Ed considered himself a very lucky man married to the same lovely woman for 72 years.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Wolcott Hobbs, daughters Deborah Beadle and her husband David of Orlando, Florida: Melanie Hurd and her husband John of
Monroe, La. Also surviving are four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 31 at 11:00 AM at Page-Theus Funeral Home Chapel, Leesburg. Before the service there will be a gathering of friends from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM Following the Memorial Service inurnment will be in the Memory Gardens at Hawthorne .Friends may offer condolences at www.pagetheusfuneralhome.com
