Faye Boyer-Nelson's Obituary
Faye Boyer-Nelson, 65, of Deltona, FL, went to be with the Lord on August 7, 2022. Faye was born in Clermont, FL, on July 15, 1957, to her beloved parents Andrew Grady Todd and Effie Evelyn (Rowe) Todd.
Faye was a Florida native and a longtime member of Emmaus Lutheran Church in Orange City, where she volunteered and helped out as much as she could. Faye and her loving husband, David, married on February 16, 1999, and celebrated 24 wonderful years with one another.
Faye originally worked as a loan officer and eventually opened her own pizzeria, but she found her calling as a registered nurse due to her helpful and caring nature. Faye enjoyed water skiing, gardening, cooking, and most importantly being an amazing mother and a grandmother to her adoring children and grandchildren.
Faye will be remembered as an extremely positive person. She lightened up any room that she entered and had an amazing ability to make friends with just about anyone; she never met a stranger. Faye was a strong woman and the rock of her family; whatever was thrown her way, she would make it work.
Faye is survived by her husband, David Nelson, as well as two children: Andrew and Bridget Boyer of Sanford, FL and Holly Hill and her husband Eric, of Debary, FL, 4 precious grandchildren: Nathan, Payton, Luke, and Lily. She is also survived by a brother, James Todd, a sister, Libby Swafford, and a nephew Jerry Swafford, as well as many other nieces and nephews.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Sharon and Wanda.
A celebration of life will be held at Emmaus Lutheran Church on August 21, 2022, at 1pm.
Memorial contributions can be made in Faye's name to The Lung Cancer Research Foundation, The National Breast Cancer Foundation, or Emmaus Lutheran Church
