Edmund John Adams' Obituary
Edmund John Adams, 69, of Ocklawaha, FL, passed away on November 7, 2022.
A true Florida Native, Edmund was born in Miami, FL to his beloved mother, Gloria Wernicke. Edmund was of the Christian faith and enjoyed spending his time fishing. He and his wife Joanie had a wonderful marriage together until her passing in 2012.
Edmund was a hard worker; he was a welder for Disney for 20 years before establishing his own business, I.R. Welder. He had a true talent for his work and also taught welding on his off time at Mid Florida Tech.
Edmund will be missed and remembered fondly for being a dedicated and proud family man. He always put his family first and also always spoke his mind with his sassy nature.
Edmund is survived by his loving daughter Jennifer Torres and her husband Kent Pistel, as well as five grandchildren: Blake, Brittany, Brittany G, Carly and Emily, and four great-grandchildren: Addy, Daxton, Jaxson and Greyson. He is also survived by a sister, Carol, a Mother-in-Law; Marie Cook, Brother in laws – Charles (Buzzy), Michael, Tom, Richard, Mark, Matt, Danny, Sister in laws- Tammy, Tracy, Annie, Cheryl and several nieces and nephews: Alex, Daniel, Sarah, April, Cathy, Shannon, Mary, Amy, Robbie, and Rusty.
Edmund is preceded in death by his beloved wife Joanie, his mother, and a sister Dawn.
