Eddis M. "Eddie" Davis' Obituary
Eddis M. “Eddie” Davis, 83, Leesburg, Florida passed away on July 5, 2018 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center, Leesburg, Florida. Eddie was born on March 10, 1935 in Columbus, Ohio to his parents Curtis Davis and Nellie (Cunningham) Davis. Mr. Davis had retired from MacDermid, Inc. Chemical Company as a Transportation Specialist. He and loving wife Geraldine moved to Lake County 25 years ago from Madison Heights, Michigan. Eddie liked to work with his hands and created wooden game boards for “Marble Playing” and “Fast Track”. Mr. Davis was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Paul Catholic Church, Leesburg, FL. Eddie was a former member of The Knights of Columbus Council of Leesburg as well as the Moose Lodge and the Eagles Lodge both of Leesburg. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years: Geraldine Davis of Leesburg, FL; two daughters: Pamela Leander and her husband David of Washington, MI and Doreen Kinnunen of Leesburg, FL; six grandchildren: Adam, Teija, Kristin, Marina, Rachel and Noah; ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
