Earl Henry Thiele's Obituary
Earl Henry Thiele passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at the age of 71. He was born on March 20, 1941 in Buffalo, NY to the late Henry and Eileen Thiele. In his younger years, Earl worked on the family farm, where he learned the rewards of hard work. After graduating from college in 1958, he moved to southern Florida and started his career as a property developer. Earl was a Christian man, and locally celebrated his faith at the Southpointe Baptist Fellowship. For the last sixteen years Earl has used his abilities and talent to strengthen and expand the Plantation development here in Leesburg. Earl was known for his business sense, and being tough but fair, but he also had a heart of gold, and was a generous man. He is survived by his loving wife Sandra Thiele of Leesburg, a son; Lee (Tammy) Thiele of Orlando, and a daughter; Marleen (Bill) Murzullo of Getzville, NY, along with two grand-daughters; Stephanie and Allissa. Earl is also survived by two step-sons; Sean Nelson of Ocala, and Jerry (Joanne) Eller of Orlando. He was preceded in death by his daughter Cheryl and wife Sally Thiele. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012 from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. in the Page-Theus Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, Aug, 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Southpointe Baptist Fellowship Church. Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
