Dr. Joseph Edward Staier's Obituary
Dr. Joseph Edward Staier passed away on Wednesday November 11, 2009 at the age of 63. He was born on February 23, 1946 in Jacksonville, FL., to the late Joseph and Thelma Staier. Joseph was a member of New Covenant United Methodist Church and too many clubs, and organizations to list. He served his country in both the U. S. Air Force and the U. S. Coast Guard, and also served his community as a school principal. Together Joseph and Paula Staier,his loving wife of over 40 years, made their home in The Villages just over a year and a half ago. He is also survived by two sons, Mikeal Steven Staier., and Joseph Edward Staier both of Washington D.C. two daughters, Mary Candace Cieslo of Ft. Bragg, N.C., and Melody Allison Jackson of Orange Park, FL., nine grandchildren and two sisters. Funeral services for Joseph will be on Friday, November 13, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. in the New Covenant United Methodist Church, The Villages, FL. Visitation will be this evening, Thursday November 12, 2009 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the Page-Theus Funeral Home, Leesburg, FL. The family has suggested memorial contributions in Joseph's honor may be made to the National Cancer Institute, National Institute of Health, Bethesda, MD.Page-Theus Funeral Home
