Dorothy M See's Obituary
Dorothy M. See of 2450 Dora Ave., Tavares, Fla. left her earthly body and went to be with the Lord Sunday, November 11, 2018 at the Cornerstone Hospice Tavares House.
Born May 25, 1929, in Hadley, PA she was the daughter to Madison and Cecil Peterson. She married her husband John E. See on Jan. 18, 1947 and moved from PA to FL in 1959. She was a retired homemaker and of Baptist faith.
She is proceeded in death by her parents; husband John E. See, infant son, Billy See and an infant grandson; brothers Virgil Peterson, Merle Peterson and Paul Peterson, and sisters Esther Varner and Marty Musser.
She is survived by her two daughters Loenna Brown of Old Town, FL and Nancy Mitchell (Dave)of Newberry, FL; granddaughters Dawn Barrett (Gary), Bobbi Ramsey (Mike) of VT and Melanie Mitchell of Gainesville, FL; great-grandson Nick Barrett (Clarissa) of Old Town, FL, great-granddaughters Caitlin Barrett (Phill Carlberg) of Winter Park, FL; Kayla Mitchell of Newberry, FL; Kristie Mitchell of Gainesville, FL; Sarah Ramsey (Raulen Bueno) of Ft. Pierce, FL; and Grace Ramsey of VT as well as great-great-granddaughters Isabella Carroll, Erin Carroll and great-great-grandson John Barrett of Old Town, FL. She is also survived by sister Norma Varner of Hadley, PA, brothers Dale Peterson (Janis) of Spring Hill, FL and Kenny Peterson (Barbara) of Hadley, PA as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband with Urn committal and graveside service to be held at Florida National Veterans Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. on Jan. 5, 2019 at 10:30am.
She will be missed, but we are blessed with cherished memories of her to help comfort us.
