Dorothy M. DeBell, 89, Leesburg, Florida passed away on May 24, 2015 in Leesburg, Florida. Mrs. DeBell was born on September 7, 1925 in Columbus, Ohio to her parents Lewis and Herma Wright. Mrs. DeBell moved to Leesburg 25 years ago from Columbus, Ohio and was of the Christian faith. She had worked as a Cashier for Kroger’s Grocery Stores, retiring from their Columbus Store. She was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking and shopping for antiques and working in her garden. She was a loving care giver who loved her family and took care of her husband in his declining days. She is survived by her loving daughters: Carol (James) Wilson of Baltimore, OH and Debbie (George) Gross of LaMesa, CA; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert DeBell. Services have been entrusted to Page-Theus Funeral Home, Leesburg, FL.
