Dorothy M. Armona's Obituary
Dorothy M. Armona, 95, Leesburg, Florida went to be with the Lord on November 16, 2018 at The Springs of Lady Lake surrounded by her loving family and staff of Cornerstone Hospice. Dorothy was born on April 12, 1923 in Paterson, New Jersey to her parents Charles and Mabel Siegrist. She was a retired Packaging Specialist in the Garment Industry. She moved 13 years ago from Nutley, New Jersey to Leesburg, Florida. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Grace Bible Baptist Church of Leesburg, Florida. She was a proud member of the I.L.G.W.U. (International Ladies Garment Workers Union) Local of New York City. She enjoyed watching football and basketball games and in her later years she loved Bible study. She is survived by her two loving sons: Frederick Armona and his wife Mary of Ocala, FL and Richard Armona and his wife Kathy of Leesburg, FL; two grandchildren: Greg and Jennifer: six great-grandchildren: Madison, Jackson, Jordan, Collin, Jace and Jett. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Frederick “Fred” Armona. Online condolences may be shared by visiting www.pagetheus.com.
