Mrs. Doris B. Redden's Obituary
Doris Brumbley Redden, 83, of DeLand, FL passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 in DeLand, FL. A native of Salisbury, MD, she was the daughter of the late Norman I. Brumbley and Blanche Davis Brumbley.
Mrs. Redden was born on March 26, 1931 in Salisbury, MD. Mrs. Redden was a 1948 graduate of Wicomico High School and a 1951 graduate of the Peninsula General Hospital School of Nursing. She retired after 25 years as a registered nurse.
Mrs. Redden was a member of the Chapel of All Faiths Church in Lady Lake, FL and the PGH Alumni Association. She enjoyed taking care of her home and others. She will be remembered as a person who was generous, loving, and someone who thought of others.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, William G. Redden of DeLand, FL; two daughters, Bonnie Nordstrom and her husband E.T. of Belle Haven, VA and Linda Kilmon and her husband Jon of Belle Haven, VA; a sister, Norma Lee of Orange Park, FL; a brother, Wayne Brumbley and his wife Juanita of Elkton, MD; four grandchildren, Christopher Kilmon and his wife Kelsey of Belle Haven, VA, Lindsay Nordstrom and her husband Brendan of Charlottesville, VA, Bryce Nordstrom of Belle Haven, VA, and Tyler Kilmon of Belle Haven, VA. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Brumbley and a sister, Eleanor Pusey.
