Doris C. Bolin's Obituary
Doris C. Bolin age 89 passed away Saturday, September 24, 2011 at her home in Groveland, Florida. She was born in Lumberton, Florida and moved to the Groveland area over 60 years ago from Archer, Florida. She retired from Martin Marietta after 27 years of employment where she worked as a Statistician. She was a member of the Edge United Methodist Church in Groveland, and was also a long time member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was known to have a green thumb and loved spending time growing orchids in her greenhouse. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 37 years Jonathan “Buster” Bolin. Survivors include: Her Son and Daughter in law – Butch and Susie Bolin – Groveland, FL; Daughters Gayle Beck and Judith Wells, both of Groveland; 6 Grand Children and many precious Great-Grandchildren.Services:The Family will receive friends on Wednesday – September 28, 2011 from 12:00 P. M. until 2:00 P. M. at the Edge United Methodist Church – 441 South Main Ave., Groveland, FL 34736. Services will follow immediately at the church and interment will take place at the Greenwood Cemetery, Groveland, Florida.Page-Theus Funeral Home and Cremation Services have been entrusted with all arrangements.
