Mr. Donald Edward Raber's Obituary
Donald Edward Raber, 93, Leesburg, FL went to be with the Lord on March 31, 2014. Mr. Raber was of the Presbyterian Faith born on November 18, 1920 in East Liverpool, Ohio to his parents Chris and Susan Raber. Donald moved here to Leesburg, FL in 1986 and was a member of the AFA Association, Bass Fisherman club, Masonic Lodge # 681, and The alumni association of East Liverpool High School. Mr. Raber was a WWII veteran of the United States Air Force and a steel worker for the majority of his working life. He was an avid fresh water fisherman, a member of the masons; he loved to read and always enjoyed a good joke. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years Georgenna Dorcas Raber; two sons: Donald W. (Cathy) Raber of Leesburg, FL , David E. (Marla) Raber of Howey-in-the-Hills , FL; Grandchildren: Kimberly Raber, Derek Raber, and Nathan Raber of Leesburg, FL Madison (Robert) Molinski Raber of Leesburg, FL and Anderson Taylor Raber of Tallahassee, FL. Services will be held at Page – Theus Funeral Home . Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 1, 2014 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday April 2, 2014 at 10:00am followed by a grave side service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Leesburg, FL. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Lone Oak at 2005 Lone Oak drive, Leesburg, FL 34748.
