Donald G. Ament's Obituary
Donald G. Ament, 85, went to be with the Lord on January 28, 2015. Donald was born on September 02, 1929 in Sparrows Point, MD to his parents George and Mary Ament. He and his wife Beverly moved to Lady Lake, FL in 1993 from Baltimore, MD. Donald was the president of the States club in his community for MD, VA and WD. He had a strong passion for football, during his college years from 1949 to 1951 he was the quarterback for the Bethlehem Bulldogs. Donald volunteered for Pop Warner football and was a proud fan of the Navy football team. He enjoyed Golfing, water skiing, and water walking. He is predeceased in death by his son: John Robinson. He is survived by His loving wife of 38 years: Beverly A. Ament of Lady Lake, FL; Son: Bruce (Terri) Robinson, of Tampa, FL; Daughter: Debra (Jim) Donnelly, of North Palm, FL; Sister Audrey Dauses, of Sparrows Point, MD; and Grandsons: Jonathan and Christopher. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 2:30 at North Lake Presbyterian Church located at 975 Rolling Acres Rd, Lady Lake, FL 32159. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s and Dementia Resource Center by mail at 1506 Lake Highland Dr. Orlando, FL 32803 or on line at www.ADCCares.org.
