Deodora Maza Araquel's Obituary
Deodora was born in the city of Bugallon in the Philippines to her parents, Feliciano Maza and Luisa Poserio. She worked as an elementary school teacher. Later in her life, she would leave her home country to move to the United States. She called Eustis, FL home for few years before making the move to Umatilla, FL where she would spend the next 19 years of her life. Finally, she moved to Leesburg, FL.
She was well known for her love of gardening and connecting with friends and families.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Feliciano Maza, Luisa Poserio Maza, her husband; Rodolfo Araquel, her daughter; Theresa Araquel, and her siblings; Macario Maza, Alfredo Maza, Carmencita Maza.
She is survived by her children, Ariel and Diwata De Ocampo, Juan and Elizabeth Uson, Dexter and Aileen Araquel, Marlon and Susana Cuntapay, and 10 grandchildren, two brothers, Mario Maza and Cesar Maza, cousins, nephews and nieces.
