David Dean Biggers' Obituary
David Dean Biggers passed away peacefully on July 14th, 2021 at the age of 63.
He is survived by his parents, Glenn and Mary Biggers; his wife, Collette Biggers; his sisters, Gwendolyn (Gary) Brewington, and Lana Williams; his children; Christina Biggers, Arron (Amee) Biggers, and Natasha (Matt) Walbert; grandchildren, Claire Davis, Adam Richwine, and Evelyn Jo Walbert; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends.
David was born on April 16, 1958 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana to Glenn and Mary (Baker) Biggers. He grew up in Arizona and Indiana and graduated from Purdue with an associates degree and later graduated from Wesleyan University with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He lived most of his life in Indiana and worked for Citizens Gas (Energy Group) for 34 years before retiring in 2013 and moving to Florida.
David was an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts, NASCAR racing. He greatly enjoyed attending the Indy 500 every year, live music and outdoor concerts, and being on a golf course as much as possible. He was a marvelous, wonderful man and a generous and selfless friend to many. His presence and energy will be missed deeply, but the impact he had on this world will live on through the many lives he touched and those memories made.
A celebration of life will be held in Indianapolis Indiana at the American Legion 497 at a later date.
