Daniel Lloyd "Danny" Farling's Obituary
Daniel Lloyd “Danny” Farling, 70, Okahumpka, Florida passed away on November 13, 2022 at his residence under the loving care of his family. Danny was born on April 5, 1952 in Portland, Indiana to his parents Richard L. Farling and Helen Joyce (Rantz) Farling.
Danny moved to Central Florida from Indiana in 1957. He then graduated from Leesburg High School in 1970 and went to serve in the United States Army as a paratrooper for over 4 years. Danny had worked for Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida as a monorail mechanic for over 27 years. He enjoyed singing karaoke for many years at Steve’s Package and Lounge in Leesburg. When not singing or playing darts at Steve’s, Danny enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with family and friends around a bonfire.
He is survived by his loving companion of 25 years: Jill White of Okahumpka, Fl; his son: Keith Farling and his wife Kristen of Sorrento, FL; two daughters: Tonia Duval and Tracy Duval both of Fruitland Park, FL; two brothers: Virgil Farling and his wife Peggy of Green Cove Springs, FL and Richard Farling and his wife Rebecca of Leesburg, FL; a sister: Karen Ragan and her husband Terry of Sanibel Island, FL; three loving grandchildren: Issac, Eli and Addalyn as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Danny was preceded in death by his beloved parents.
The family will be holding a Celebration of Danny’s Life on Saturday, December 10th from 12:00PM (Noon) till 2:00PM at Steve’s Package and Lounge in Leesburg, Florida.
