Cynthia Keller Barry's Obituary
Cynthia Keller Barry, age 71, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with illness.
Born in Moncks Corner on July 7, 1954, Cynthia later moved to Ocala as a child with her parents, Earl and Mazie. She graduated from Vanguard High School and spent many years working at Central Florida Community College, where she built lasting friendships and touched many lives.
Above all else, Cynthia was a devoted mother who raised five boys on her own with strength, determination, and unconditional love.
She was known for her beautiful smile, infectious laugh, and caring heart. Even through the final nine months of her life, she fought courageously and never stopped trying to recover, but her body had simply grown too weak.
She will be deeply missed by her sons Jacob, Justin, Josh, and Michael; her grandchildren Brianna, Jared, Harper, Miles, Easton, Jackson, Aubrey, Sierra, Jaden, and Jordan; along with many other family members and friends who loved her dearly.
Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in the memories she gave us, the love she shared, and the strength she passed on to her family.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
— 2 Timothy 4:7
