Whenever Gene would come into a room, he lit it up with his smile and joy. He made any day more filled with joy and laughter. I will miss him terribly at line dancing. He always used to yell "HITCH" in certain dances, and screamed during "Mustang Sally", when the singer screamed. But his yell was so much more because Peter always put the microphone in front of him. He was very uninhibited and outgoing.

Laura and all of Gene's family... I am holding you close to my heart during this sad time. I will never forget Gene's wonderful sense of humor, from his funny T-shirts, to the jokes he told us, to his Comedy Club skits. He is leaving a big empty space on this earth, but we can fill it with happy memories of the special man that he was. Rest in peace, Gene. Find peace and comfort, Laura.

I worked with Gene in Dycorp for many years. He was a great person to work with and always had a good nature about everything. He could tell some stories too. Always made us laugh. I thought the world of Gene. God Bless Gene and his family. He will be greatly missed.
To Laura and the Mulligan family I send my love and condolences to you and his family , I warmed with Gene for many years at Dyncorp and he is my brother and always will be . After Gene had his first heartattack I went to the hospital to see him and, he was ICU the , the burst said you must be family to see him and I looked her in her and said I am . He is my brother from another mother and she let me and we have been that close since then . Laura love and Blessing to you all my heart still hurts but I'll make it because big my faith .
