Connie Lea Dumeney's Obituary
Connie Lea Dumeney, 70, Leesburg, Florida passed away on January 28, 2017 at Promise Hospital in Oxford, Florida. Mrs. Dumeney was born on November 13, 1946 in Lansing, Michigan to her parents Edwin and Marion Olson. Mrs. Dumeney was a former Transportation Specialist for the Okemos Public School District in Okemos, Michigan. She was a proud member of the Coalition Against Domestic Violence. She loved being surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren. She liked to travel especially taking cruises with her husband. She always wanted to make others happy. She is survived by her loving husband of over 50 years: Gary Dumeney of Leesburg, Florida; two daughters: Tammy Hernandez of Lansing, MI and Michelle (Jarvie) Bentley of Southgate, MI; two sisters: Judith Richardson of Stanton, MI and Stacy Dunn of Boyne City, MI; six grandchildren: Jacob, Marcedes, Alex, Michael, Ethan and Austin; Many loving nieces and nephews and many loving cousins.
