Clyde James Bitner's Obituary
Clyde James Bitner, 89, Yalaha, Florida went to be with the Lord on May 24, 2013 under the loving care of family and staff of Tavares Hospice House, Tavares, FL. Mr. Bitner was born on January 15, 1924 in Mammoth, Pennsylvania to his parents A. Clyde and Mable Bitner. Mr. Bitner was a Sales Manager for Pepsi Cola Corporation. He and his wife moved to Yalaha in 1984 from Tallahassee, FL and were members of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Leesburg, FL. Mr. Bitner was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Navy, and a Life Member of the Kecksburg Volunteer Fire Department in Kecksburg, PA as well as the Elks Lodge in Mount Pleasant, PA. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years: Lois Bitner of Yalaha, FL; a sister: Lorraine Kemp of Indian Head, PA; many nieces and nephews and many grand nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 31, 2013 at 11:00am at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Leesburg, FL with an Inurnment to follow the service at the church.
