I meet Chris 5 years ago at a luncheon. We sat and talked for over an hour and agreed we should meet again. He always talked about his beloved wife Ann, their daughter Maria and his brothers. Family meant more to him than anything else in the world. Anyone who knew Chris knew right away he was a very intelligent and kind person. I never heard him say a bad word about anyone. Always well groomed, loved a good joke had a wonderful smile and over that last five years we became very close friends. I was honored to spend the last five New Year eve dinners at Royal Highlands as his guest. He was what most people would call a man’s man. Masculine and strong but also kind, and gentle which is a rare combination. I will miss him very much as I’m sure everyone here today will. So let’s all hold on to the memories we shared with him, the laughter, the good times, I think that’s what Chris would want. Nancy Clark

So very sorry to read of Chris’s passing! John and I spent many pleasant evenings with Chris and Ann whilst we were in Royal Highlands. I saw Chris the one time I visited RH after I left to return to the “old country”.
It must be some comfort for you to know he is now reunited with your Mum.
