Cheryl A. Crocker's Obituary
Cheryl A. Crocker, 78, of Leesburg, Florida went to be with the Lord on January 4, 2023 after a year long battle with cancer. Cheryl was born on October 6, 1944 in Decatur, Illinois to her parents Kenneth Wilkin and Doris (Edwards) Shelton. She and her late husband, Richard Crocker, moved to Indiantown, Florida in 1986, and to Leesburg, FL in 2004. Richard passed in 2020 after a long battle with Dementia. Cheryl was a member of the First Baptist Church of Leesburg. She was a former Nurse and Vascular Technician and also worked at the Leesburg Medical Center for a short period where she was loved by all that worked with her. Cheryl enjoyed friends, traveling (especially cruises), and surrounding herself with her loving family. She is survived by two children: Marsha Young and her husband Steve of Versailles, KY; Danny Crocker and his wife Lizanne of Leesburg, FL; Mimi to 6 loving grandchildren: Christian Crocker and his wife Kara, Brandon Young, Hannah Crocker, Olivia Young, Leslie Crouse and her husband Dalton, and Micah Crocker, who meant the world to her as she walked through her battle with cancer. She was also survived by her brothers: Kenneth Wilkin and wife Barb of Decatur, Illinois; Mike Wilkin and Shirlene of Decatur, Illinois; a sister-in-law: Beth Kuenzi and her husband Jim of Fate, TX; and nieces and nephews.
