Mr. Charles Walter Ettter's Obituary
A Memorial Service was held for Charles Walter Etter, age 74 of Leesburg, Florida who passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 after complications from heart surgery, was held 10:00 A.M. - Friday, March 29, 2013 at Pennbroke Fairways Grand Hall in Leesburg, Florida.
Charles was born in Leitersburg, MD and retired to the Leesburg, Florida area in 2000 from Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. Before moving to Florida he was a gifted technician with Toyota for over 38 years. Shortly after moving to the Leesburg area he went back to work for another 10 years working for companies such as:
Earthscapes Inc., where he constructed house pads for residential homes, Turfmasters Landscaping, and the Budd Group finally retiring again in 2010. He was a life member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, past member of the Owls, VFW, Eagles Inc of Waynesboro, PA and an active member of the Leesburg Retreads Motorcycle Club. He loved playing golf, darts, horseshoes, water volleyball, and riding his Honda Trike. He enjoyed feeding others and loved to prepare and grill all the food for the double header softball games at Pennbroke. He loved anything to do with motorsports/racing and enjoyed traveling the United States in his RV to visit his many friends and family.
He was pre-deceased by his first wife – Virginia Wooding Etter and his brother Ronnie Etter, and he will be sadly missed by his puppies Katie and Scooter as well as his loving family… His wife Mary Ann, daughters – Tammy, Teri, Tonyia; Brother Robert; grandchildren – Ashley, Tyler, and Scott;
The family suggests that Memorial Contributions be made to: The American Heart Association.
