Billy was the epitome of a southern gentleman, always showing courtesy and respect to everyone he encountered. I had the privilege to call him brother in law. He was a devoted father and enjoyed all that accompanied being one. He spent time with his family and friends event after putting in a day of hard work. He truly earned the title of Poppa to all his grand kids. If you were at his memorial service you saw first hand the impact he made in everyone’s lives. Billy will be missed by all who knew him but his legacy lives on in his kids and grandkids.
