Thomas, Chalmers Holloway Chalmers Holloway Thomas age 81 passed away Thursday, January 20, 2011 at the Leesburg Health and Rehab Center in Leesburg, Florida. Mr. Thomas was born in Broadway, NC and moved to the Leesburg area in 2005 from Hertford, NC. He was retired from Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse where he served at various locations in the capacity of store manager for over 25 years. He proudly served is country in the U. S. Navy and then in U. S. Army. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved being on the water boating and fishing. His wife Connie and the rest of Chalmers’ family would like to sincerely thank the staff of Leesburg Health and Rehab for the many acts of kindness that were shown to them during Chalmers’ time there. He is survived by: His loving wife of 30 years – Connie; Son – Terrell Nathan Thomas of Virginia; Daughters – Penny Riddick, and Claudia McCrackin both of Virginia; Brother – William C. Thomas of Virginia; Sister – Betty Lou Rogers – North Carolina; and 8 Grandchildren.The family will receive friends at their home from 2:00 – 4:00 Tuesday, January 25, 2011, and in lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to: · Alzheimer’s Association North & Central Florida Chapter, 378 Center Point Circle, Suite 1280, Altamonte Springs, FL 332701 Or Cornerstone Hospice Foundation, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778 All arrangements are under the careful direction of Page-Theus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 914 West Main Street, Leesburg, FL 354748
