A Celebration of Life for Carolyn A. Woodring…Heaven has a new Angel.
Carolyn A. Woodring age 66, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014 in Leesburg, Florida. Carolyn moved to the Leesburg area full time in 2012 from her birthplace of Elizabethton, Tennessee. Before her retirement she worked as a sales clerk with Wal-Mart for nearly 20 years.
She was a vibrant person who truly loved her time in Florida, and spent many hours enjoying the beaches. She also enjoyed fishing and spending time cultivating her garden. She loved music and was a talented pianist who played for the Big Springs Christian Church in her hometown of Elizabethton.
Locally she and her husband of 45 years Barry attended The First Christian Church of Leesburg. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law Patty and Rev. L.C. Tester of Elizabethton, Tennessee.
A Gathering of friends and family is planned from 10:00-11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 25, 2014 at the Page-Theus Funeral Home in downtown Leesburg with a Memorial Service following immediately at 11:00 A.M., her brother-in-law Rev. L.C. Tester will officiate. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg, Florida.
