Carolyn Ann (Alpert) McCoy's Obituary
Carolyn Ann (Alpert) McCoy, 74, of Leesburg, Fla., died Saturday, July 6, at the Rucki Hospice Care Center in Zephyrhills, Fla.
She is survived by her son, John McCoy, of Wesley Chapel, Fla., and daughter, Melissa McCoy, of Pasadena, Calif.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert McCoy.
Mrs. McCoy was born Sept. 26, 1944, in Alexandria, Va., to Samuel and Addie (Gilbreath) Alpert.
She and James were married July 20, 1961, at Fort Belvoir, Va.
Mrs. McCoy was a homemaker. She enjoyed painting, crafts, playing mahjong and traveling. She retired to the Pennbrooke Fairways community, where she leaves behind many friends.
Visitation with the family will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at Page-Theus Funeral Home, 914 W. Main St., Leesburg, Fla., followed by a brief service at the funeral home. Mrs. McCoy will be inurned at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
