Carmen "Duke" Tallarico's Obituary
Carmen J. “Duke” Tallarico age 73 passed away Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Cornerstone Hospice House, The Villages, Florida. He was retired from IBM in East Fishkill, NY and moved to the Lady Lake area in 1994 from Newburgh, NY his birthplace. He also retired from the U. S. Army National Guard as a Master Sergeant after 20 years of service. Mr. Tallarico was an active member of St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in Lady Lake, Florida, the Lady Lake Kiwanis Club where he was a Past President, and Leesburg Regional Medical Center Auxiliary. One of his passions was cooking for his family and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents Antonio and Catherine Tallarico along with two sisters and three brothers. Survivors include:His loving wife of over 50 years Jean; Two sons, Anthony Tallarico of NJ; and Joseph (Jennifer) Tallarico of Summerfield, FL; a daughter Kathleen LoFaro of Lady Lake, FL; a Brother- Nicholas Tallarico of Carmel, NY; and 4 Grandchildren- Anthony, Andrew, Joseph, and Alexandria and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8:00 P. M. at the Page-Theus Funeral Home and Cremation Services There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in Lady Lake, FL on Wednesday at 10:00 A. M. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Duke’s memory to: Cornerstone Hospice Lake/Sumter 601 Casa Bella, The Villages, FL 32162.
