Carly Bernert Nelson's Obituary
Carly left us peacefully on September 10, 2015 in Leesburg, Florida after a short illness.
Carly was born in Brackley, England and moved to the Leesburg, Florida area in 2013 from her hometown. She was an alumni of Magdalen College School, Brackley, and went on to further her education at the University of Birmingham, and also the University of Northampton England, where she studied for and gained her degree in General Nursing.
Carly is remembered by those closest to her as a happy, caring and considerate person, full of life, fun and innocence. She enjoyed living in the United States in the tranquillity of the countryside in Florida with her devoted husband Dale, her Father-in-Law and their two adored dogs; Shelly and Gucci.
Carly remained in close contact, through Skype, with her family in England, especially her Mother and Father, Brother, Sister-in-Law, Niece, Nephew and Grandparents.
Carly also enjoyed music, cross stich and jigsaw puzzles and through the internet she never missed an episode of her three favourite British soap operas, EastEnders, Emmerdale and Coronation Street!
As much as Carly loved being in America with her husband, she missed her family and friends along with the many good times they shared socializing at the Red Lion Pub in Brackley, England where she enjoyed listening to live bands on Friday and Saturday nights.
Carly leaves Dale, her loving husband of four years, her heartbroken parents Richard and Penny, her brother, Chas and his family, and her loving in-laws - Dale Nelson Sr. of Leesburg, Florida and Jean George of Ohio.
Carly was everyone’s friend, she was everything to everyone, and much loved by all those who knew her. She was kind, thoughtful, genuine and loyal - a truly special person who will never be forgotten, and will remain in our hearts forever.
All arrangements are under the careful direction of Page-Theus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Leesburg, Florida
