Carl Louis Rytter's Obituary
Carl Louis Rytter age 54 passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016 at his home. Carl was born in Arlington, Virginia and moved to the Groveland area in 1992 from Warsaw, New York. He was a retired supervisor/corrections officer with the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Coleman, Florida. He was also a former law enforcement officer in upstate New York, and a U. S. Navy Veteran. Carl is remembered by those closest to him for his easy going, calm attitude and good sense of humor. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of The Eagles in Okahumpka, Florida. Carl was also a major Washington Redskins fan and loved watching sports on television. He loved the outdoors and spent many hours laboring on his yard to making sure it always looked its best. He loved spending his down time at the beach, but most of all he loved riding his Harley Softail on long rides. Carl was pre-deceased by his mother Dorothy Ann Watkins. He leaves behind his loving wife of 30 years Margie; his father - Hank Rytter of Tennessee; 3 daughters – Alecia, Keshia, and Lisa Rytter all of Leesburg, FL; 3 brothers – Raymond Rytter of Winchester, VA; Hank Rytter, Jr. of Charlestown, West Virginia; and Shawn Rytter of Red Boiling Springs, TN; and 2 grandchildren – Kylie and Jeremy.
A memorial service celebrating Carl’s life is planned for 1:00 PM, Sunday, April 17, 2016 at the Page-Theus Funeral Home in downtown Leesburg, Florida, with military honors performed by the U. S. Navy.
