Carl Finley Lamb, Jr.'s Obituary
Carl Finley Lamb, Jr., 83, Yalaha, Florida, passed away on January 11, 2019, at Leesburg Regional Medical Center, Leesburg, Florida. Carl was born on December 9, 1935, in Chicago, Illinois to his parents Carl Finley Lamb and Albertine (LaRoque) Lamb. Carl married Nancy Kettner in May of 1963 with whom he enjoyed 50 years of marriage. He built a career as a Food Sales Manager for Ocean Spray, Swanson Foods and Campbell Soup Company before owning a Union 76 Gas Station in Westminster, California.
He and Nancy retired to Florida from Southern California. They were members of St. Paul Catholic Church in Leesburg, Florida. Carl served in the U.S. Naval Reserve and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, The Moose Lodge and the Elks Lodge. He is survived by his loving children Cheryl Moore of New York, NY, Scott Lamb (Sandy) of San Diego, CA, and Carrie Connolly (Paul) of Prescott Valley, AZ; six grandchildren Kaitlyn Connolly (19), Finley Lamb (17), Alyssa Connolly (16), Faith Lamb (14), Jillian Connolly (12) and James Connolly (9). He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy.
