Connie (Canelia) was my first friend when I moved to Florida (1986) and was my very best friend for years. I will never forget how she cared for and looked out for me, how hard we would laugh, and our great conversations. We have so many memories! While we stayed more distantly connected more recently, mainly through a "degree of separation" - many things would remind me of her & would make me smile--and I knew that she was "out there in the world"; it's so hard to think of her as being gone...I love looking at this picture of her- so beautiful, radiant and happy! While there is some relief in knowing that her physical pain is now gone, I know it continues for those who loved her- clearly many...Thank you, Connie, for all of the awesome times, true friendship,great memories & for shining your light in my world! My deep sympathy to her loving husband, sister Michele (always Shelly to me) and Maresa/family, and her close friends. Rest in peace, beautiful "bud"..Love you!
