Candy Maldonado, 56, Ocala, Florida went to be with the Lord on March 16, 2021 at her residence in Ocala, Florida. Candy was born on September 11, 1964 in New York City, New York to her parents Carmela DeJesus and Blanca Sierra. She was a former Receptionist in the Health Care Field. She moved to Ocala, Florida 15 years ago from the Bronx, New York. Candy was of the Christian faith. She loved to dance and keep her home neat and tidy. She loved to be surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren. Candy is survived by her loving children: Jay Serrano and his fiancé Marina Figueroa of Ft. Myers, FL and Stephanie Lee Rodriguez and her husband Felipe Rodriguez, II of Ocala, FL; her mother: Blanca Sarjoo and her husband Francis of Ocala, FL; two brothers: David DeJesus of Florida and Carmelo DeJesus of Brooklyn, NY; a sister: Luz Maria DeJesus of Ocala, FL; brother-in-law: Kenneth Cruz of Ocala, FL; six loving grandchildren: Icyalena Destiny Rodriguez, Isaiah Julian Ruiz, Felip Rodriguez, III, Nyalee Bella Rodriguez, Jayden Frank Serrano and Lilliana Rose Serrano; a niece: Krystle Cruz of Ocala, FL.
