I was just googling Bonnie Frankish and found this obituary. I knew Bonnie back in the early 70’s while working at the hospital in Cleveland, st Luke, I believe, and remember her as a warm and caring person who took a young Med tech under her wing and taught me how to be a better tech but more importantly a better person. I still use the sugar cookie recipe that she gave to me and have passed it down to my children. I think of her whenever I make my Christmas cookies.
I always heard about Bonnie, remember her Aunt or Grandmother Flossie from when we were young. but lost track of who & where they all fit. I am Guy and Sylvia Stewart's daughter, Granddaughter of Mable Odle, Stewart, lots of memories of the family. Bonnie Jean looks like my Grandmother, My daughter even ;picked that up, Times like this we miss our parents so much, no one to ask any more. we just lost our last Aunt (Pauline Byrd), youngest daughter of Mable & Chet Stewart, My Dads sister. I met her with Kimberly and the kids about 4 years ago. She had the most entertaining srories to tell. She and Kimberly talked non-stop for 2 hours straight and could've gone on for hours more without so much as a pause. She treated me like family from the minute we met. Wonderful woman!
I first met Bonnie when I was 15 years old as she went zooming by in a sports car with my boyfriend (husband). Little did I know then how blessed I would be to know her. She became my mother in law, grandmother and great grandmother to my children, and dear friend. She taught me so many life lessons, how to cook, sew, and paint. How blessed am I to have had her touch my life. She was a strong, beautiful, graceful lady.
You have taken a little of our hearts with you, we will love and miss you always. I am sure as I write this you have already received your gold halo and wings. I am sure you have had many open arms welcoming you to heaven. Rest In Peace Mom.

I will always remember spending Easter and vacations down in Florida with her. These were some of the best memories I have from my childhood. My grandmother was an amazing woman and will be dearly missed. I'm glad that I was able to bring my children, her great grandchildren, down to share in some of the same amazing memories. Even though we were 1,000 miles apart I knew that she cared about my entire family and thought about us often. I know one day we will see each other again but for now she can finally rest peacefully. Thank you for those amazing years grandma, I will miss you.
