Bernice Sybil Grant's Obituary
Bernice 'Bunny' Grant passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at the age of 83. She was born on March 14, 1926 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to the late Herbert and Ruby Rooney. In her earlier years in Mississauga, Canada she served as an Optician, but spent most of her life caring for her children, doing volunteer work for various organizations and working along side her husband Dr. William Grant in his medical practice. She served as President of the Women's Hospital Auxiliary in McKenzie, TN., and enjoyed such activities as ice skating, bowling, golf, and bingo. Bernice is survived by her three sons; Bill & Linda Grant of Seminole, FL., David and Sue Grant of Georgetown, Ontario, Canada, and Paul and Kiki Grant of Burlington, Ontario, Canada, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A joint funeral service for Bernice and Dr. Wm. Grant will be held today, Thursday July 9, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Page-Theus Funeral Home.
