Me and Audrey grew up in the same town of Woodhaven, Queens, NY. We had wonderful talks reminiscing about the old neighborhood and how fortunate we were to grow up in such a wonderful place.
I play guitar with GEM Christian music group at the nursing home where Audrey lived. She loved the song Mansion Over the Hilltop, which she said brought joy to everyone. From her wheelchair she would try to tap her foot when we played it.
We will all miss her, but she’s now tapping both feet in that Mansion Over the Hilltop.

Audrey was my friend for 33 years and we had wonderful times and adventures together. I will always have fantastic memories and happy thoughts of her no longer needing a wheelchair. I was blessed with her love & I loved her right back. Hugs, kisses, love, prayers.
