Arthur Davis Anderson's Obituary
The Anderson family regrets to announce the passing of Husband and Father, Arthur Davis Anderson, 82, of Leesburg FL. He was born June 9, 1936 to Algerine Mert and May Belle Anderson in Greenwich Ohio. He attended Citrus High School in Floral City, FL, and was employed at Norwalk Furniture Corporation for 38 years, retiring in 1995. Art was a consummate craftsman-woodworker, true jack- of-all-trades. He was a cunning problem- solver, life-long avid reader and sometime philosopher-humorist. In short, he could only be best described using hyphens and will remain an enduring influence on multiple generations of those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by wife, Geraldine Faye (Everman) Anderson, children, Algerene Lee (Bud), Jeffery Davis, Wayne Victor, Paula Faye (Anderson) Dietrich, and Matthew Paul; sister Alma Chaffee, fifteen grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Dolores Blunk, Audrey Dornon, and Jo Anna Hartrum.
There will be no public memorial, the immediate family will hold a private gathering at a future date. In lieu of flowers or other considerations, please donate to your local public library or literacy outreach, to honor Arthur’s love of reading.
