April Dawn Ray's Obituary
April Dawn Ray, 52, of Leesburg, FL, passed away on July 9, 2025. April was born on May 28, 1973 in Clarksburg, WV, to her loving parents; James and Sheree (Losh) Reynolds.
April grew up in Florida and eventually returned to West Virginia, where she raised her children, ultimately deciding to move back to Florida and settle here. She worked as a manager for Publix for over 15 years and enjoyed her time there. April was a member of the Lake County Harley Owners Club and overall very active within the Lake County community.
April was a bright and fun loving social butterfly. She loved to party, travel and just bring people together. April loved Christmas, spending time at the beach, being with her family and of course, enjoying her husbands cooking. She was known as "The Charcuterie Queen" and always made an effort to make others feel welcome to the parties and gatherings she hosted. April will be missed dearly and remembered fondly for her quick witted sense of humor and beauty inside and out.
April is survived by her adoring husband of 20 years, Wayne Ray, her children: Ricky, Krysta, Brandon and Ryan, stepchildren: Jennifer and Brandy, her parents, James and Sheree Reynolds, her siblings: James, Larissa and Breawna, as well as 11 precious grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren, and her close and dearest friends.
A public visitation will take place on Tuesday July 15, 2025 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm, with a funeral service to follow at 6:00pm.
April's family asks all guests to wear your best Hawaiian or Cruise attire in honor of April's love for travel.
