Antonio Rivera Santiago's Obituary
Antonio Rivera Santiago, 102, of The Villages, Florida passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018. He was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico to the late Eulalia and Bernardo Rivera Santiago. He recently moved to Florida last November. Don Toñio a great man, in his younger days he worked for Blanton C. Winship, Governor of Puerto Rico, in 1935. He also worked for the railroad system in NYC. He was a barber and also ministered to the prisoners in NYC.
Survivors include friend and caretaker Carmen Jimenez (husband Hector); his companion of 30 years Buenaventura Rivera. He was like a Grandfather to Joshua Lochard, Yentl Lochard and Albert Lochard. Josie Jimenez and Grandkids Noelle González and Justin González were also blessed with knowing him as their Grandpa. .As well as others in the family Nancy Lantieri, Vincent Lantieri, Rachel Evans, Hector Jimenez, Alexander Lochard, Zulma Lochard, Margarita Rodríguez and Jack.
He is preceded in death by his wife and daughter.
A private inurnment will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Leesburg, Florida.
