My deepest condolences to Bridget's family. We were pals back in the early 90's on the police department. In an environment predominantly male, we really bonded and clicked with each other which made going to work that much better. She had a great sense of humor and was a good friend. We were on the same shift at the time and carpooled to work together. She called me "kiddo" even though I was only 3 years younger than her! She watched my pets when I would go away for vacation, she took me home after my wisdom teeth were removed and we attended many after work parties. She could always make me laugh. She was part of a small group that we had that consisted of Jan birthday girls and we would go out for our birthdays every Jan. After she left the police dept, we drifted apart however. I know she had some struggles along the way and I wish it could have been different. I am glad I knew her, like I said, she could always make me laugh. I pray she is at peace now.
