Annette E. Jennett's Obituary
Annette E. Jennett, was born on February 22, 1925, in Clarendon, Jamaica, WI. She peacefully passed with her daughter and son-in-law by her bedside on July 31, 2021. Annette migrated from Jamaica, WI in 1963 and resided in New York City before settling in Pleasant Valley, NY for over twenty years, prior to moving to Leesburg, FL in 2019.
As a former manager in the beauty Industry, Annette indulged in fashion, cosmetics and enjoyed dressing up and showing off her favorite attire. She also worked in the Health Care Profession as a Private Duty Nurses’ aide. She joined the Roman Catholic Religion and was a faithful member. Annette was called Auntie or Mommy by everyone, she was truly a kind and humble woman, she enjoyed caring for people as much as she did for her family and friends. She was a great cook and loved to entertain her loved ones. She enjoyed making her favorite chicken and pigeon pea soups, while delighted in watching everyone slurping their bowls and giving her much praises.
Annette was a loving and caring mother, she is survived by her daughter Eulah McCalla Fraser and her son-in-law Owen Fraser, who resides in Leesburg, FL; her loving sister: Nancy Francis and nephew Rex Ricketts from Brooklyn, NY; close family friends Pansy Williams and Cheryl Allamby; Clinton Chin and son Damian, and the rest of the Chin family, lots of cousins, nieces and five Godchildren.
Mommy will forever be in our hearts, and we will miss her beautiful and loving smile!
Funeral Services will be held at Page-Theus Funeral Home in Leesburg, FL on Saturday, August 21, 2021
Viewing will be held prior to the ceremony between 11:00AM – 1:00PM and Memorial Service to follow.
In loving memory of Annette, the family has requested donations to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Wounded Warriors Project.
