Annette Marie Deatherage's Obituary
Annette Marie Deatherage entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 9th, 2025, in Lady Lake, FL.
Annette was born in Cleveland, OH to her parents, William Pasan and Helen Kubasek, on November 12th, 1943. Annette was an elevator operator at Halle’s department store in Cleveland OH and that is where she would meet the love of her life, Ronald and the two would marry at the Holy Rosary Church on October 1st, 1971. They would spend the next 53 years together and raise two sons.
In the late 80's, after her sons were grown, she reentered the work force with Baldwin Wallace College and later Southwest General Hospital where she spent many years in the Environmental Services Department. After retirement, she moved to Florida with Ron to start their next chapter. There they enjoyed hosting many foreign exchange students. As a devout Catholic, Annette was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Leesburgh, FL. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society, enjoyed making ceramics and was a cat lover.
Annette is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Deatherage; her two sons, Ryan Deatherage, his wife Michelle and Timothy Deatherage, his wife Cheryl; and one grandson, Benedict Anthony, her two sisters Diane Fikter and (her twin sister) Janet Phillips.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Association or to the SPCA Humane Society in Annette’s name.
